The band is cut into a lace pattern and finished with a silver-plated tone, kept hollow between the lines rather than solid across the surface. Copper forms the base underneath the plating, and the open back means the same lace pattern adjusts to fit different finger sizes. The cut-out lines stay fine rather than chunky, so the lace reads delicate up close.
